Needs to have fps unlocked. I've downloaded this game on every phone I've had since my Samsung Galaxy S4 and the performance has never improved. Don't waste your money; this is the only game in the franchise that's not worth buying on Android.

Not bad but this isn't the same as the US version for the ps2. No voice acting, no orchestrated soundtrack, plus dragon soul was removed from this version? I grinded my way to level 70 until I figured that out. Feels like a waste of time and money for $20, when the only new feature is the ability to quick save, which kind of takes away part of the experience of the game (going to the church to save). I still enjoyed it though. This version is nice to play while watching TV. Not worth $20 though

Why no landscape? Some of us got big hands.

It's the eighth Dragon Quest 🛡🐉⚔ game and still virtually no one ever minds that you come in unannounced to rummage through their dresser 👚, steal and break their stuff ❗ It took me around 70 hours to complete the main story of this game 😅. Folks, don't let critics sway you from this very cool game because of its differing frame rate, 🎶, portrait mode from the console versions. This game and DQ 5️⃣ vie for the top spot in this series so don't miss playing this one. ✌🏻

Editing from a 5 star review. As time went on this game still never allowed 30 or 60 fps. It's around 20 and that's really not necessary with how powerful phones have become since launch. 3 star! Also the cut the bad voice acting, some may perfer that, but I would I could turn it on.

Horrible movement on mobile don't bother

It keeps telling me I need " x " amount of space to download for it to work. Done this twice and it still keeps trying to do the same update or just not finish altogether.

I paid good money for this game. It pisses me off that I have to connect to the internet every time I want to continue playing it.

Great Dragon quest game. One handed is fine. Only two complaints. It's hard to adjust view and they removed voice acting.

I love D8 but hate how this version is set up because it's jard to control the player. EDIT: Why require allow contacts permission for cloud save?? I don't think I've seen an app require that for this before. Uninstalled
